July 10-14: Paint Play
Included in this week's program for ages 9 to 12 is:
Paint Lab: Faculty Instructor - Experiment with painting tools and techniques—inks, washes, resists, scraping, layering—to push paint in new directions and shape your skills as an artist.
3D Watercolor Collage: Eric Rassmussen - Explore watercolor like never before! Experiment with soap bubbles, resists, shaving cream, salt, sponges, and more. Build a library of colorful paintings, then transform them into 3D collages by folding, bending, and stacking paper with cardboard.
Big Ideas, Big Canvases: Melizza Chernov - Plan and paint oversized works inspired by awesome abstracts, large landscapes, and mega masterpieces in the Museum's galleries.
