Afternoon - Features of the Face and Relationship to the Whole Portrait. Pencil, Charcoal or Conte Crayon
6/27 - Morning - Gestural Line and Value to suggest Portrait. Conte Crayon, Charcoal or Soft Pastel (limited colors). Afternoon - Color and Portraits. Soft Pastels and/or Colored Pencils.
Supplies
Drawing Pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B), Charcoal (Vine and Compressed) Sticks and/or Pencils, Conte Crayons (black, white, sanguine, brown), Soft pastels (basic set), Colored Pencils (basic set), Blending or Tortillon Stump (optional)
Newsprint or Sketch Paper (11x14 or larger), Drawing Papers, Toned Mi-Teintes Pastel Papers or Pad
Kneaded Eraser, Sharpener or Sandpaper Block, Cloth or Paper Towels
