Acquire new tips and tricks for painting in your choice of acrylics or oils. Through still lifes and landscapes, students will learn palette use, color mixing, brush techniques, color theory, composition, value, and chroma. Open to new and continuing students.

Student Supply List (pick Acrylic or Oil)
- Small sketch book
- Metal pallet knife
- One large paper pallet (12X16 or bigger)
- 10 – 14X11, (Suggested size) canvas board
- Masking tape
- Package of soft vine charcoal
- #10 simply Simmons long handle brushes round, flat, filbert brights (It says on brush (bright, plat court, piano corto, rapdon)
Needed colors: (Least expensive paints possible, hues are fine and largest tubes)
- Cadmium red medium
- Cadmium yellow medium
- Ultramarine blue
- 2 large tubes of Titanium white
For acrylic painter only:
- Acrylic retarder 8 oz.
- Acrylic Matt Medium 16 oz.
For oil painters only:
- Gamblin odorless Gel,
- small jar with Safflower oil in it
