Discover the beauty and exciting medium of watercolors. This class will cover both foundational techniques and the creative freedom of abstract watercolor painting. Working from nature and imagination, you will learn watercolor basics, color flow, essential techniques, textural effects, and intuitive composition. This class provides the perfect space to play and relax. [ALL]

Recommended Materials 

• Watercolor paints
• Brushes – Rounds (synthetic are good) #10 and #12 and a 1” Flat
• Paper: Watercolor paper 140lbs cold press ( you can get 22” x 30” sheets about 2 or 3 sheets or Watercolor paper blocks 8” x 10” or larger)
• Palette – White surface only
• Masking tape
• Graphite pencil
• Black drawing ink (India ink)
• Kneaded eraser
• Salt, Rubbing Alcohol, plastic wrap
• Paper Towels

OPTIONAL: Any other dry materials you would like to use such as, watercolor pencils, colored pencils, pastels, artist crayons, etc.
