July 20-24: Mix it Up!
Included in this week's program for ages 8 to 10 is:
Armored Up: Faculty Instructor - Inspired by the Museum’s incredible collection of armor explore how humans and creatures protect themselves — both naturally and with human made gear. Each week, sketch, sculpt, and design your own imaginative armor pieces.
Fantasy Creatures: Jen Swan - Let's explore the world of fantasy creatures in clay, drawing, painting and collage. From fiery dragons and phoenix to flying unicorns, what creatures, myths and legends will inspire your artwork?
The Sky's the Limit: Jen Swan - Let's look up to the sky for inspiration as we paint clouds, sunsets and starry night skies using acrylic paints on canvas. We will learn techniques to portray weather and light effects as we build skills in color mixing, blending and brushwork.
