Art Unbound: February Vacation Workshops
How can art be used to spread peace or explore freedom? This February, the Worcester Art Museum’s vacation workshops invite young artists to push boundaries, share their voices, and create work that uplifts others. From powerful posters to collaborative installations, each workshop encourages kids and teens to think big, make bravely, and discover the many ways art can shape a better world.
Workshops run from 10 AM to 3 PM and early drop-off begins at 8:30 AM. Each day is $50, or you can register for both days and save $15! All materials are provided.
Free Extended Day is available from 3 pm-5 pm. Space is limited, and registration is required.

What does it mean to use art as a force for change? Explore how creativity and activism intersect, develop your own zine, and amplify a message that matters to you.
Good in the Hood
Discover the joy and diversity of neighborhoods as you transform student artwork into a vibrant installation. Design and build a colorful display of paper houses that celebrates how our unique differences come together to create a beautiful community.
Portraits Reimagined
Inspired by Kehinde Wiley’s powerful reimagined portraits, reinterpret historical poses, experiment with vibrant patterns, and celebrate freedom of expression as you design a portrait that honors a contemporary hero.
My Voice, My Story
Everyone deserves the freedom to express who they are. Discover new ways to communicate identity, representing meaningful parts of your life with the artistic language feels authentic to you.
Peace in the Streets
Street art and murals bring bold messages of peace to city walls. Explore amazing muralists, design your own street-inspired art, and team up to create a colorful indoor tape mural!
