This class introduces students to the unique medium of watercolor, from materials and techniques, to color mixing and compositional planning. Painting exercises, still lifes, and photos will be used to instruct students to its fundamentals.. There will be demonstrations of special watercolor approaches, such as wet painting and dry brush. Students will be shown examples of important historical and contemporary work. More advanced students will be challenged to develop personal images and style.[ALL]
