No matter what medium you choose to paint in, join us in exploring abstraction. Students will have an opportunity to focus on their emotions and use of color to express themselves via different techniques to create abstract paintings. [ALL]

Required materials: 

• Canvas: 9”x12”, 12”x14” or larger. Watercolor pad or paper. Larger size canvas and paper are recommended, as opposed to notebook sizes.
• Paints: Red, green, blue, white, yellow, black.
• Brushes: 1” flat minimum, plus various other round and flat brushes of various sizes. Palette knife. 
• Acrylic medium. 
• Gamsol if using oil paints.
• Mouling paste.
• Palette knife. 
• Palette or palette paper.
• Rag if working with oils.
