Conte is the drawing medium of the classical masters. Participants will use red, black, and white conte on toned paper to create studies of still life, portraiture, and landscape. This technique is important for anyone looking to improve their drawing or painting skills. [ALL]

Supplies 

Each student will need 10 sheets of toned 19" x 25" Canson Mi Tientes PASTEL PAPER :
3 sky grey, 3 light blue, 3 moonstone, 1 oyster 

Most online suppliers will not sell less than 5-10 sheets of one color. To order online, I suggest:

C.C, Lowell at 455 Pleasant Street in Worcester sells individual pastel paper sheets.

All the other supplies can be purchased online from Blick or Jerry's Artarama

• General's medium peel and sketch charcoal pencil
• Stomp for blending
