Please Note: This course is designed to support individual artistic exploration and personal projects completed in your own home studio. As a result, recommended supplies will vary depending on your interests, preferred materials, and project goals. The list below is intended as a guide and represents materials that may be useful throughout the course. You are not expected to have every item, and you are encouraged to work with the materials you already own whenever possible.

Suggested supplies may include, but are not limited to:

• Acrylic, watercolor, and/or gouache paints
• A variety of paint colors, including red, yellow, blue, black, and white
• Painting tools such as brushes, palette knives, scrapers, etc.
• Gesso
• Painting mediums (matte or gloss, based on preference)
• Supports such as 140 lb. or heavier watercolor paper, mixed media paper, canvas, or painting panels
• Graphite pencils, charcoal sticks, and/or charcoal pencils
• Artist pens
• Black ink
• Masking tape
• Sketchbooks of any size or format
• Collage materials (paper scraps, decorative papers, magazines, etc.)
• Adhesives
• Colored pencils, inks, oil pastels, soft pastels, artist crayons, and any other favorite art materials you enjoy working with.
