Art & Armor: December Vacation WorkshopsGet ready to suit up and get creative! This December, the Worcester Art Museum’s vacation workshops for kids and teens bring the new Arms & Armor galleries to life. Explore knights and samurai, try on big ideas, and make your own adventurous designs. From fashion to battle gear, you’ll discover how armor tells stories -- then design your own!
Workshops run from 10 AM to 3 PM and early drop-off begins at 8:30 AM. Each day is $50, or you can register for both days and save $15! All materials are provided.
Free Extended Day is available from 3 pm-5 pm. Space is limited, and registration is required.

Workshop Descriptions:On ParadeArmor wasn’t just for battle -- it was fashion, status, and storytelling. In this workshop, discover armor’s role as wearable art, then design your own embossed story!
Samurai in BattleDiscover the protection Samurai wore and held in battle! Create your own Samurai armor, from intricately designed sword guards to wearable helmets and breast plates.
Art of the SamuraiSamurai histories show a strong sense of identity, art, and expression. Explore these traditions and create your own Samurai identity!
Suit up!Gear up for action! Explore the Arms & Armor galleries to see how knights prepared for battle, then design and build your own paper or cardboard armor.
