01/24/2026 - 04/11/2026

David White

Saturdays, 1/24-4/11 (No class 2/21 & 2/28), 1:00-4:00 PM

From monuments to makeshift protest objects, sculpture has long been a tool for political expression. Through prompts that encourage both traditional and unconventional approaches—sculpting, assemblage, installation, and site-based work—students will explore how form, material, and scale can amplify a political message and reshape public dialogue. [BEG]

$250

Required Materials:

**Materials will vary widely between students and will be discussed on the first class. Generally students will be expected to source unconventional materials from thrift stores, recycling center, or personal belongings.
