Workshop: Basic Acrylic Bootcamp

Acquire new tips and tricks for painting with acrylics. Through still life and landscapes, students will learn palette use, color mixing, brush techniques, color theory, composition, value, and chroma. Open to new and continuing students. One drawing class requested. [ALL] $100

• pallet knife
• paper towels
• large paper pallet
• plastic wrap
• water container – 1⁄2 gal. suggested
• tuna/fish/other cans for medium
• 16X20, (Suggested size), canvas or board or Primed paper or watercolor paper
• masking tape
• variety of brushes, no small brushes, #10 and up
• Acrylic retarder, (a must have) and Acrylic Matt Medium
• acrylic paints ( & BLACK!)
• Colors – students grade for new painters:
• Cad. Red Medium, Cad. Yellow Medium, Ultramarine Blue and Titanium White –
  big tubes. HUES ARE FINE
• Other colors to consider: Quinachrodone Magenta, Lemon or Hansa Yellow,Cerulean Blue
