Spend your Saturdays playing and exploring mixed media art journaling with drawing, painting, writing, collaging, and sketching!  

MATERIAL LIST
  • Sketchbook any size and any kind you like (paper should be heavy enough to support water, paint, collage
  • Pencils – graphite, colored pencils
  • Markers and pens – maybe some permanent pens so you can paint over them
  • Crayons – artist crayons – water-soluble (optional)
  • Pastels/dry or oil (optional)
  • Water base paints (either/or acrylics, watercolors)
  • Paint brushes
  • Inks (optional)
  • Glue and Adhesives
  • Collage Items: stamps, old letters or writings, magazine images, prepared papers, decorative papers, other memorabilia and ephemera from your life
  • Colored or black and white photocopies for transfers
  • Scissors or something to cut
