CLASS + TRAVEL: The MET Studio David White Sat

9/21/2024–12/7/2024, 10 am–12:30 pm (No class 10/13 or 12/1) 

Travel to New York City to spend a full day exploring the Metropolitan Museum of Art, gaining inspiration for a multi-session studio course back at WAM. In the classes before the trip, WAM gallery visits and additional resources will help you identify thematic interests and favorite periods of art history to guide your MET experience. A charter bus will bring you directly from WAM to the MET for a day-long experience on October 19th. In the following weeks, you will transform the inspirations into historically-grounded works of contemporary art. Minimum registration of 12, max 15, registration deadline 9/10. Charter bus fee and MET admission included.
