Theorist Marshall McLuhan famously said, “The medium is the message." Artists throughout history have played with the idea that the materials used to create art are as important to the meaning as the visual. This multimedia studio course asks you to develop techniques with unconventional materials to 
communicate an ideology and explore your unique perception of the world. Works may be 2D, sculptural, or site-specific installations.
