Do you like writing short fiction but also have the desire to work on a longer project? The novella-in-flash offers a chance to produce a full-length story while still embracing the concision and energy of the flash form (less than 1,000 words). We will explore how to connect flash stories to create a novella, learn to understand our characters more deeply, and work to build a distinct story-world. This class is geared toward students who have already begun a novella-in-flash but writers who prefer to produce stand-alone flash stories are also welcome. Recommended text is Unlocking the Novella-in-Flash by Michael Loveday. $185
