24AWMXD320 - Collage for Landscape and Still Life

Jill Pottle

1/25—4/18, 10-weeks, 2-5PM (No class 2/15, 2/22 & 4/11)

Explore the natural way oil pastels combine with collage to build up layers of colors, tones, and values. Working from still life and landscape as subjects, develop provocative compositions as you push these media to their limits in small and large artworks. Inspiration from artists such as Matisse and Bonnard will inform the use of line-described form and color-defined value. All levels welcome.  $255
