Take Flight | Something Old and Something New | Wild for Watercolors for 8-10 years

Birds, bats, squirrels, and seeds all travel through the air. Learn how they ‘Take Flight’ and create your own gliding contraptions. Afterwards, combine Something Old and Something New while you consider recycle bins wells of inspiration as you tape, glue, and fit together bits to create new and inspiring sculptures. After lunch, get Wild for Watercolors as you learn tips, techniques, and how you can create great landscapes, portraits, abstract art, and more in this class inspired by the exhibit Watercolors Unboxed.

$300/week

About WAM's Youth & Teen Summer Programs:

• Summer Programs for students 5 to 17 years old run from 9AM to 3PM. 
• Drop-off begins at 8:30AM in the Lancaster Lobby off of Lancaster Street.
• Dress for mess!
• Bring a peanut- and tree-nut free lunch.
• Afternoon Extended Day is available from 3PM to 5PM for an additional fee.
