Create your own clothing from materials that would otherwise be sent to a landfill! Learn about the enormous toll the fashion industry takes on the environment and approach fashion design through a more sustainable lens. Use art from the Museum as inspiration as you work with upcycled materials like deadstock fabric, cutting room scraps, and thrifted goods for your designs. Learn to employ zero-waste pattern cutting and hand and machine sewing techniques to create apparel. All skill levels welcome!
