This introductory course focuses on the fundamentals of drawing, concentrating on the use of line, value, proportion, spatial relationships, compositional planning, media, and tools. Draw from a variety of real objects and a portrait model. Obtaining basic skills will allow for personal expression and further study from photos and imagination. Includes model fee.

  • -HB pencil                                                          
  • -2B pencil
  • -5B or Ebony Pencil
  • -Soft charcoal pencil
  • -Medium vine charcoal (package of 3 sticks)
  •  white vinyl eraser
  • -Kneaded eraser
  • -18" x 24" white drawing paper
  • -pencil sharpener or knife
  • -clips

Recommended

-Drawing board or piece of  masonite cut slightly larger than pad

-Workable fixative (Krylon)
