David White 1/15–3/12, 1–4PM (No class 2/26)

“Do objects contain hidden meanings that can be exposed through artistic intervention? This sculpture course asks students to reconsider the symbolism and functionality of their material surroundings through a series of craft related projects. Course materials will focus on assemblage, sewing and fiber arts, as well as indigenous craft that sources materials from the natural environment.” $220

“Students will gather their own project materials and the museum will supply tools. More info will be given on the first class.”
