David White - 1/15–3/12, 9:30am-12:30pm(No Class 2/26)

Students will learn about the 20th-century avant-garde surrealism movement and create their own surreal oil paintings relevant to modern times. The course will enhance technical painting skills and emphasize the power of the subconscious.

Student Supplies

Unless otherwise notified, please bring a sketchbook, pencil, eraser, and any other supplies you may want to bring to the first class. Your instructor will review supplies.

PLEASE NOTE: All individuals entering the Museum are required to wear a face mask.

Construction work will be occurring in the Higgins Education Wing as the windows and skylights in the wing are being replaced. If there will be any effect on your class, such as a change in studio, we will let you know ASAP.
