Study the basics of sculpture with air-dry clay, wire, plaster, and wood. Along with lectures and discussion, students will view exhibits in the Museum for inspiration. The final project will give students a chance to work with unconventional materials.

Student Supplies

Most supplies provided, the instructor will go over additional supplies on the first class - a sketchbook and pencil is recommended.

Construction work will be occurring in the Higgins Education Wing as the windows and skylights in the wing are being replaced. If there will be any effect on your class, such as a change in studio, we will let you know ASAP.
