Focus on incorporating visual and tactile texture into your paintings in this unique class where you will choose your own subject to work on in acrylics or oils. Learn how to use underpainting and layering to create mature, finished work with depth and dimension. Students 16+ years welcome.

Student Supplies

Canvas 12"x14" or larger.

Oil or Acrylic paints and brushes.

Rags, water or oil container, palettes, palette knives, etc.

Details on textures, etc. will be provided 15 days before the course begins.

Construction work will be occurring in the Higgins Education Wing as the windows and skylights in the wing are being replaced. If there will be any effect on your class, such as a change in studio, we will let you know ASAP.
