In this class we will explore a variety of drawing techniques and genres using the museum’s collection as our subject. The class will take place within the museum, visiting a different gallery each week. We will hone our skills in drawing from direct observation from the museums many artworks.

Student Supplies

Large Drawing Board with Paper or Sketchbook, no larger than ~24"x30", pencils of varying hardness, erasers. Stools available in the galleries.

Construction work will be occurring in the Higgins Education Wing as the windows and skylights in the wing are being replaced. If there will be any effect on your class, such as a change in studio, we will let you know ASAP.
